Our Founder’s Journey

At the age of 17, in 2001, Sam Steele began a career in IT, fueled by a passion for technology and security. Over the years, they’ve built a wealth of experience working across both government and private sectors, from large enterprises to small businesses. With over two decades of hands-on experience, Sam has gained an intimate understanding of the security challenges that modern businesses face.

During Sam's tenure with the government, Sam worked specifically in cybersecurity, focusing on identifying and fixing security risks on the most sensitive government networks (the types of networks he cant talk about).

This role gave Sam deep insights into the real-world threats that small business owners encounter daily, including the most common attack vectors used by cybercriminals.
